A super quick and easy breakfast or snack idea for St. Patrick’s Day: Lucky Charms Donuts! We used store bought biscuit dough and enjoyed sweet donut treats after just a few minutes of cooking in the air fryer! This treat is easy enough for the kids to help make. (Or maybe those silly leprechauns could make them!)
Ever since we made our very first batch of air fryer donuts a few years ago, we were hooked on these easier-than-easy treats. They require almost zero prep because we use store bought tubes of large, flaky biscuit dough.
These tubes typically come with 8 pre-sliced circles of biscuit dough. We use a small round cookie cutter to make a hole in the center and then it’s off to the air fryer to cook!
Today’s version of these simple donuts will work beautifully for St. Patrick’s Day! You could surprise the kids with them, let the kids help make them, or even have them waiting as a “leprechaun trick” or gift from those little green guys.
