I first made this patriotic themed dessert a few years ago for 4th of July. It was an instant crowd pleaser and has become one of my favorite go-to picnic foods.
These treats are so easy to make – and they taste just as good as they look!
Simply take whole, rinsed strawberries and dipped them about 2/3 of the way into white melted chocolate.
Before the chocolate hardens, dip the tip of the strawberry into blue sugar crystals. I actually use a spoon to sprinkle the crystals onto the strawberry. Make sure you leave some of the white chocolate visible.
Lay on wax paper to harden and refrigerate until just before serving.
