Green Eggs and Ham Treat

There is one author whose books are so widely incorporated into school curricula nationwide, he gets an entire week named after him.  Dr. Seuss books are favorites for many parents and educators to read to their kids and students and every year during the last week of February many schools celebrate “Dr. Seuss Week.” Dr. Seuss’s birthday is March 2nd, so that explains the timing for this themed week.

Our local elementary schools always celebrate Dr. Seuss Week and they usually tie in some spirit days with things like “crazy hair day,” “pajama day,” etc. Lily always looks forward to this week of school and loves participating in the activities.

If the Dr. Seuss book Green Eggs and Ham just so happens to be on your reading list this year, I have a super fun (and ridiculously easy) snack that will pair perfectly with this book! Make some Green Eggs Pretzel Bites!
