Kids can round up a completely FREE book this summer when they turn in a completed reading log between 8/1/19 and 8/31/19. Check out the 2019 Barnes and Noble Summer Reading Program.
Barnes and Noble Summer Reading Program
Barnes and Noble is once again offering a summer reading program for kids. Kids in grades 1-6 can earn a free book when they complete this Summer Reading Journal. (B&N has a Spanish version of the Summer Reading Journal available here!)
Kids get a free book when they complete the summer reading program!
Print your journal and take it to your nearest Barnes and Noble store between 8/1/19 and 8/31/19.
Kids can choose their free book from the list of titles on the Summer Reading Journal.
This is a great way to get kids excited about reading and also a perfect opportunity to prevent that inevitable “summer brain drain” when kids risk forgetting some of the things they learned in school the year before. There are many ways to keep your kiddos immersed in educational activities over the summer that keep them learning (and using those brains!) while having a lot of fun. Check out local camps, library programs, museum programs, arts programs, zoo programs, etc.
What are some of your family’s favorite activities in the summer? We definitely try to add weekly library visits to our schedule and both of my kids participate in various summer camps, including pony camp and musical theatre camp. I also make sure we have plenty of weeks to just BE and relax by the pool or play outside! Happy summer vacation!
