Smoosh Your S’mores Experience at Hershey’s Chocolate World

This post is sponsored by Hershey Entertainment & Resorts as part of my participation in the Hershey’s Sweetest Moms ambassador program. All opinions are 100% our own.

Every time we make a visit to Hershey, PA, we always (and I mean always) leave with some chocolate to bring home.  Sometimes we will buy chocolate over in Hersheypark, other times we will pick something up from one of the hotel gift shops.  But almost every single stop in Hershey finds us popping into Hershey’s Chocolate World to see what’s new.  Chocolate World has a bunch of different experiences that are a lot of fun for the whole family.  My kids love the 4D movie and we also made our own candy bars before which was really cool.

Of course, what’s one of the most iconic treats when it comes to Hershey’s Chocolate?  Definitely some s’mores!  We love making s’mores on just about every camping trip we take. If you visit Hersheypark they typically have a s’mores stand open in the park.  I’m excited to tell you about a recent addition to Hershey’s Chocolate World where you can get your s’mores fix any old time you want it (during regular operating hours of course).

When you enter Chocolate World, head straight to the back towards the Food Court.  Go through the Food Court and all the way on the very back wall (next to the milkshake counter) is the new “Smoosh Your S’mores” counter.

The price was $9 for a “double chocolate s’more” at the time of our visit (August 2018) and the s’more that you get is HUGE.  Bob and I split one and it was more than enough for the two of us.  This is definitely a great dessert to share!  It’s also a really really messy dessert, so I highly recommend having a seat and eating your s’mores treat in the food court instead of trying to tote it to the car.

When we visited the Smoosh Your S’mores counter, they offered a special S’more of the Day (was raspberry that day) or a standard s’more with graham crackers, chocolate and marshmallow.  These treats use big square shaped marshmallows that fit the oversized graham crackers perfectly. The entire process from ordering to receiving your s’mores treat is pretty quick – just a few minutes. You can watch your marshmallows toast and as they exit the oven via conveyor belt, a yummy chocolate square is placed on top of each side.

For optimum s’mores experience, you’ll want to wait a few minutes for your chocolate to get all melty before you go for the smoosh.  We let ours sit for about 3 or 4 minutes and then watched the magic happen!

Such a delicious treat, not to mention totally interactive and fun!  Trust me that these treats are BIG and they are super RICH.  They are perfect snacks to share!  Check out my video of our s’more being made:
