Pineapple Dole Whip – Dairy Free Version
Think you can’t make up a version of the famous Disney Dole Whips that is dairy free? Think again! We made a delicious version using coconut whipped cream!
If you have ever traveled to Disney, you might be very well-acquainted with their famous Pineapple Dole Whip frozen treats. As a kid, I was never actually a fan of pineapple, so I had never tried a Dole Whip on any of our trips to WDW. But as the years have gone on (and on and on), my taste buds have changed. Among the foods that I never cared for but now actually like are, you guessed it, PINEAPPLE. For whatever reason, pineapple is now my jam. I love it! So last time we went to Epcot, Bob and I each enjoyed a delicious Dole Whip as we watched the Illuminations show over the lake.
We came up with a pretty tasty Disney Dole Whip copycat recipe that uses frozen pineapple chunks, pineapple juice and cool whip. That was all fine and good until recent months when Bob had landed on a gluten and dairy hiatus per his doctor. This caused us to attempt a dairy free Dole Whip. The results? DELICIOUS!
Dairy Free Pineapple Dole Whip Ingredients
2 Cups Frozen Pineapple Chunks
4 Oz Coconut Whipped Topping
1 Cup Pineapple Juice
How to make Dairy Free Pineapple Dole Whips
It doesn’t get much simpler, folks.
Get a blender. Dump the ingredients in the blender. Blend. Serve in a frosted glass if you really want to get fancy. If not, any old cup will do!
This treat is so easy to make, you can enjoy it at home or at your vacation destination!
Here’s a video of the original version we made last year:
