Easy Mason Jar Floating Candle Luminary

Mason Jar Floating Candle Luminary

Every year during the holidays, I put together some cranberry evergreen luminaries. They are easy to make and look wonderful on our kitchen table throughout Christmas and New Year’s. As autumn rolls right along, our decorating game is out in full force with hay bales, mums, corn shocks and pumpkins both big and small on our front and back porches.  We have some flowers and smaller pumpkins inside the house as well.  This morning I put together a Mason Jar Floating Candle Luminary and I like it so much, I will be making a few more.  These will look amazing on our porch among the pumpkins and mums for our various family and friend get-togethers!

Aren’t they divine?

I love the classic, simple, clean cut look!

Here’s what you need to make a Mason Jar Floating Candle Luminary:

Quart-sized Ball Jar (I used the lid rim as well)
Raffia/Twine
Floating Candle
Water

How to make:

1. Place lid rim on mason jar.

2. Tie raffia/twine around neck of jar.

3. Fill jar with water (leave an inch or two of space at the top)

4. Place floating candle in the water and light whenever you’d like!
