I am a member of the Netflix StreamTeam. As such, Netflix has provided me with a subscription to Netflix streaming services and a streaming device on which to watch the content. In exchange, I have agreed to share monthly posts with my readers about topics relevant to various streaming content. All opinions are 100% my own.
Do you want to know what I saw last night?
A firefly! (Or you might call them lightning bugs.)
The very first firefly of the Summer season was buzzing all over our yard. The kids were asleep after a weekend jam-packed with outings, picnics, a parade and lots of outside play. Bob and I sat out on the patio enjoying a quiet dinner as the sun set. While I don’t really care for the super hot days of Summer, I do love the warmth that lingers into the evening hours.
Warm nights and a break from school mean many things around here. They mean staying outside longer and later, enjoying the extra sunlight to play ball, sit around the fire pit, blow bubbles and ride bikes. These nights also lend themselves perfectly to movies on the big backyard movie screen! You can set your movie screen up with a projector and then play or stream movies from the device of your choosing (laptop, blu-ray player, dvd player, etc).
We enjoy streaming Netflix shows and movies on our backyard screen. We set the screen up close enough to the house to use the Wi-Fi and we love having the vast Netflix library at our fingertips!
Here are 10 Terrific Kid-Friendly Movies to Stream on the Backyard Movie Screen:
