When we first got word of a new Disney movie, we could not WAIT to see it. Then we found out it was a princess movie AND the princess just happened to sport a curly mess of RED hair… the excitement grew from there.
Disney’s BRAVE is the tale of Merida – a strong willed girl who refuses to accept the fate that has been handed to her. This movie has mass appeal for all ages – I’m pretty sure Bob and I laughed just as much as Lily, if not more. Our favorite parts of the movie featured Merida’s trouble making triplet brothers, who happen to be the spitting image of MY brother. We like to call those brothers “Baby Uncle Bretts.”
The animation was top notch – there were times that I actually forgot that I was watching an animated film. I loved the soundtrack as well – it enhanced the movie without distracting you from the action.
BRAVE hits store shelves TODAY, 11/13/12, and is available on Blu-Ray, DVD and digital format.
The blu-ray version of this movie features lots of extras, including behind the scenes features, extended & deleted scenes, a mysterious and an exciting, new short film, ‘The Legend of Mor’du.”
Current (as of 11/13/12 at 9:02 am est) prices on Amazon (which all ship FREE with Prime or Super Saver) are:
Brave on Blu-Ray – $19.99
Brave on DVD – $15.99
Brave Digital Version – $14.99
