Well, the cat is out of the bag over here. I gave Bob his new shirt this morning so now I can share it with you! I saw a similar shirt on Pinterest months ago and knew that Bob would love it. I also figured it would be perfect for “Pirate Night” whenever we end up on another Disney Cruise.
So yesterday I decided to knock another idea off my to-make list and whipped up this shirt for a fun Valentine’s gift.
I had a black shirt and white HTV (heat transfer vinyl) on hand already.
I used the Booter font and a skull/crossbones image from my files.
I cut the design on my Silhouette Cameo and weeded the vinyl to leave just the design. (Don’t forget to mirror your image before you cut!)
Once everything was lined up the way I wanted, it was time to iron it on the shirt!
My iron was on the cotton/linen setting. I put a piece of parchment paper between the vinyl and the iron and pressed for just a few seconds.
I rolled up the shirt and tied a piece of Valentine’s ribbon around it. Ready for gifting, and yes, he loved it!
