We’re just rolling right along here this Teacher Appreciation Week… So far we have given gifts to the swimming teacher, the horseback riding teachers and the preschool teachers. I really do love this week and taking a few minutes to make these gifts. When I was a teacher I truly adored every last card, picture, (insert-gift-item-here) that I ever received. I now enjoy being on the other side of the fence and getting to give little tokens of appreciation to Lily’s amazing teachers.
Today was ballet class. This gift was a fun one to make – and I am not exaggerating when I say it took all of 5 minutes to put together.
To make this present, simply pick up a tin of Pepperidge Farm Pirouette Cookies. Get it? Pirouette? As in, the dance move!
Using pink ribbon that resembles the ribbon used to lace up ballet slippers, wrap it around the tin to give it a “laced up” look. Use tape or glue dots to hold the ribbon in place on the bottom and top of the tin. So entirely cute!
I stuck another little piece of ribbon on top of the tin and affixed the gift tag to that ribbon.
You can download a free copy of the tag and personalize it for your child’s teacher:
