So I’m sitting here, about a month after we returned home from Disney World, combing through pictures and videos. I am sorting them and figuring out what things I still need to write review posts on and smiling as I remember some of the highlights of our trip.
Then I came across a picture and correlating video that are too funny not to share.
Believe it or not, we packed so much fun into our 3-night cruise on the Disney Magic, it was easy to feel like we had been away from home for weeks instead of just days. And it was completely feasible to believe that vacation was over and we were headed home.
So as we walked off of the ship that Monday morning, that’s exactly what we told our kid. “Wow! What a great cruise! That was SO much fun! I can’t believe our trip is over already. Time to head home.” And she was completely okay with that. The past three nights had been the time of her life and she settled into the backseat a very happy (and tired) little camper. In mere seconds after we pulled out of the cruise parking lot, this was the scene in our backseat:
Seriously – it killed me to have to wake her. But I knew that it would be one of the best wake up calls of her life… so just as we were about to drive through the main gate at Disney World, here’s what happened:
I love how she is so dazed and confused but bursting with excitement at the same time!
We headed into the park and a magical day was had by everyone.
In fact…
I’m not quite sure who ended up having the very best day of all…
Bob?
Or Lily?
Or Landon?
Nope.
It was definitely ME.
:D
