You may have noticed by now that my family travels a lot. Every family has their hobbies, and traveling is definitely one of ours. We love to save our pennies and then use them to pay for fun vacations. One of my favorite things to do is to plan our next adventure.
Before we ever decide on where our next trip will be, I make a stop to our local library. I grab several travel guides and books to research potential destinations and enjoy pouring over them to narrow down our choices.
I’m planning two potential road trips at the moment. One of them is slated for March 2011 and will be a vacation in…. Florida! We are thinking about heading to Florida for a week, splitting our time between some Orlando theme parks and a game or two of Phillies Spring Training.
I want to share one of the resources that I found at the library. If you are considering a trip with the kids to Walt Disney World, you need this book!!! I picked up Fodor’s Walt Disney World with Kids 2009 while at the library. I began reading it and couldn’t believe how much insider info could be packed into one book. I enjoyed the book so much, I decided to check Amazon for a newer version.
I was thrilled to find Fodor’s Walt Disney World with Kids 2010 (with Universal Orlando and Sea World) by Kim Wright Wiley available for the bargain price of just $12.23 (plus it shipped free with my Amazon Prime membership).
This book is pretty much a bible of all things Disney that relate to kids. You will find tips and tricks, money and time saving ideas, and a detailed description of area hotels, eating options, and travel choices.
I have no doubt- this book is going to save us time and money- and help us decide where to stay, among other things. Be sure to check it out!
