TAXES ARE DUE IN LESS THAN 30 DAYS!!!
It’s funny. I completely 100% HATE math. I HATE it. But for some reason, when it comes to doing my taxes, I love it. I guess it’s because I love my money and therefore I have a vested interest. 
I have used a variety of programs in the past to complete my taxes. Last year I used the free software from H&R Block which was really easy to use. This year used TurboTax. I really want to maximize some deductions, and it walked me through the process without too much hair pulling! Here’s a list you might want to bookmark if you’re thinking about doing your own taxes- each offers a free basic version and various paid versions:
H&R Block at Home: Free – $50 (I have used the free version for about 3 years- I like it!)
TurboTax: Free- $75 (I’m thinking about shelling out a few bucks for this one.)
*Canada* QuickTax (made by TurboTax): Free- $40 (Scroll to the bottom for the 2 free versions!)
Military families: If you have an uncomplicated return, you can file your taxes for FREE from H&R Block online starting 1/18/10. More details on OneSource. Thanks, Mrs. Moneysaver.
