How about making something OTHER than holiday cards? I signed Biker Bob up for an account to see what I could come up with for a 2nd set of cards.
I made 25 photo flash cards to help Lily learn some sight words. (I’m a teacher, trust me, it’s never too early!) I used a large font to print the people’s names and chose a different background for each print. I will laminate these cards so that Lily can play with them without destroying them! For the next 25 cards, I made some “good bucks.” My friend Jenny reminded me of these, and they’re similar to what I used to use in the classroom, only I called those flexibility dollars. Even though she’s not quite old enough for them yet, these “bucks” will be used as a behavior management tool with Lily Bean. She can earn bucks for good behavior which can then “buy” certain prizes or privileges. Bad behavior? Good bucks are lost!
